Types of Memberships:
An active member is an individual who currently represents a local government organization as a primary decision maker or a member of senior staff in geographic information systems and related information technology. He/she is involved in defining and establishing geospatial direction and policy (Director, Manager, Administrator, DBA, Sr. Analyst, etc.).
A sustaining member is an individual representing a non-local government organization or firm, with interest in the objectives of the Association. A Sustaining Membership may be granted to the individual, not the organization, and the total membership of the organization or firm is limited to a maximum of two (2) concurrent memberships.
